currently working on:

I work as a public health data scientist, so when I’m not writing jokes, I’m obsessively reading about infectious diseases, public health data systems, and women’s health.

I’m currently working on a nonfiction book project about the maternity ward at the Ellis Island Hospital. This book blends data science methods and archival research with narrative prose to illuminate the stories of the women who delivered babies at the hospital, just within sight of the Statue of Liberty and New York City.
